Updates…

Posted: under Writing.

As I finish up the Proof Queries, which have now been sent back to Flux, I find myself having forgotten to prepare an interview for today’s post. So, we’ll be officially skipping this week’s interview portion of the blog.

Hey, it happens :)

In other news: The Proof Queries actually turned out to be rather fun. Gave me a chance to think through a number of items in the book and strengthen a number of scenes, which is always a good thing. I also had some further edits and revisions to add to the list of answers so now it’s almost all finished. There were some questions I had about some questions they had so once I get answers back there might be some minor tweaks to be made. Then in about a month or so I’ll receive the final version of the book to make sure everything’s all fixed up. After that, I’m pretty sure that’s it, no more editing. No more revising. A process I’ve been working on for almost SIX years has about a month left to go before I won’t be able to change anything else.

That’s going to call for some type of celebration. I, of course, will most likely celebrate by moving.

In other, other news: I’ve been asked to rewrite my Bio. This is more difficult than it sounds. As I just told my wonderful agent: I’ve been looking at a bunch of Bios for other YA authors and they’re all funny! They’re all great! They all are humorous to one degree or another.

As I told her: I suck at being funny on purpose. I’m much funnier by accident.

Can that be my bio? Well, that and the fact that I’m hitting my head against a wall trying to write a Bio. So, here we go:

Peter Adam Salomon sucks at being funny on purpose. He is much funnier by accident.
He lives his life hitting his head against walls trying to define how he lives his life.

Will that work?

Please?
